THE AMERICAN PRESIDENCY: A GLORIOUS BURDEN AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF AMERICAN HISTORY, SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION, WASHINGTON DC

Designed and fabricated in seven months, this exhibition opened just after the 2000 presidential election in the United States. It features over 900 presidential artifacts, including George Washington's military uniform and the contents of Abraham Lincoln's pockets the night he was assassinated. Interactives and eleven dynamic film vignettes created by The History Channel complete the visitor experience.
