BASEBALL AS AMERICA TRAVELING EXHIBITION FOR THE NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM, COOPERSTOWN NY

The traveling exhibition -- the first developed by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum -- documents the impact of baseball on American cultural history. It features more than 500 artifacts from the Cooperstown's rich collections, including the Doubleday ball. The dynamic, highly interactive exhibit includes a collection of films, produced by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, on the history of baseball. A ten city tour brought "Baseball as America" to a wide and diverse audience. Venues include the American Museum of Natural History in NYC, The Field Museum in Chicago IL, the Museum of Science in Boston MA, and the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC.
